Invoice Chaser
Quick answer
Free invoice reminder tool. Download it, run it locally, never miss a payment. No subscription, no accounting software, no sign-up.
Add your invoices, pick when to chase, download calendar reminders straight into your phone or laptop. No Xero, no QuickBooks, no subscription. Works entirely on your computer.
How it works
Add your invoice details
Client name, email, invoice number, amount and due date. Takes 30 seconds.
Pick your chase schedule
Choose when to remind them: 7 days before, on the due date, 3/7/14/30 days after. You decide.
Export to your calendar
Download a .ics calendar file and import it into Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Each reminder pops up with the chase email text ready to copy and send.
Get paid on time
Your calendar reminds you to chase. You send the email from your own account. No subscriptions, no middleman, no ongoing cost.
Assumptions and limits
- It does not send emails. It gives you calendar reminders with the chase email written out, and you send it from your own account.
- Invoices are stored in this browser on this device (local storage). Clearing browser data removes them, and they do not sync between devices. Export a CSV if you need a copy.
- It does not work out interest or compensation. The late payment interest calculator does that.
Sources
The tool uses no official rates. For the rules on late payment, and to cost up interest on a specific invoice, see the late payment interest calculator and this page.
- Late commercial payments: charging interest and debt recovery (GOV.UK): when a business-to-business payment legally counts as late, and what you can charge once it is.
